I'm very excited to begin my third year of teaching 2nd grade. I have a wonderful support system as I embark on this wonderful career in ever changing education. This is going to be a year of adjustments for me! My youngest son will begin high school, while my middle daughter is leaving for college. My oldest daughter did me the favor of staying home for college. My husband has been very supportive of my career. I began as a stay at home mom and then began an at home day care. When all of my children were in school I went back to school part time while teaching preschool. Three years ago I finally got my own classroom. I'm looking forward to implementing some new things this year. I'm also very excited at trying my hand at this blogging thing.
